Meet the Pastor

Pastor Dan Case was born and raised in nearby Warsaw, New York. He and his wife Sydney met and were eventually married in Key West, Florida. Having moved back to Dan’s native Wyoming County, they first attended LaGrange Baptist Church in 1991 when they walked into the church’s meeting house on a Sunday morning in September that same year. Upon entering the assembly of Christians meeting within that building that day, they felt they had come home “to a place they had never been before.”

They began getting acquainted with fellow believers there who lived out the love of Christ in a most welcoming way, and it was within that congregation of saints where Dan and Sydney raised their three daughters and their son.

Pastor Dan had served as a Sunday school teacher, song leader, and deacon at the church during the 1990s and was working the evening shift as a custodial worker at a small public-school district when he was asked to pastor the church at LaGrange in December of 1998. He officially began serving in the pastoral ministry in LaGrange on January 18, 1999.
